Helitt is a new initiative by a local business group and with national capital. Helitt Airlines plans to start operating after the summer. The company will be based at Costa del Sol Airport, but expects to establish more bases in Andalusia, while the horizon is not limited to regional flights and it also aspires to national and even international flights.
So far has not yet been confirmed which routes Helitt will operate; this information will be presented in the coming weeks, when making the official presentation of the company, but one can say that the general area is southern Europe and northern Africa.
Helitt will start with 3 aircrafts ATR72 with a capacity of 66 passengers, which soon will be expanded to 5. It seems that the first routes will be Malaga-Vigo, Malaga-Casablanca, Granada-Lisbon, Almeria-Barcelona and Valencia.
