British Airways (BA) will strengthen its presence in Malaga with a new route from the Andalusian city to London City Airport, the closest to central London. Flights operated by BA CityFlyer, a subsidiary of the British airline, will be launched on 7th of June 2011 for the summer season.
BA CityFlyer will operate this new service four times a week, as reported in a statement from British Airways, which also reminds the increased number of daily flights from Malaga airport to Gatwick airport, also in London.
Tickets to fly from Malaga to London City Airport are available on the website of the company www.ba.com from 76 Euros per flight, taxes and fees included.
The general sales manager of British Airways for Spain, Portugal and Gibraltar has noted that “Malaga is a logical destination for our company and our customers appreciate not only the frequency of our operations, but also the airports we fly to, and of course London City Airport is the most central of the British capital.”
Just 10 minutes from the financial district, London City Airport offers customers of British Airways more possibilities for travel and a higher quality of service.
Thus, for the traveler is simplified the way to the airport, while taking advantage of working time in the British capital. Just five minutes separate you from Canary Wharf, in just a little more than 10 minutes you can visit the Tate Gallery and in less than 20 minutes you reach the West End.
According to BA CityFlyer’s commercial director, “we have responded to customer demand. Routes to Palma and Ibiza we launched this year have proved extremely popular with passengers, so we decided to venture into new projects”.
