The airline will include Malaga in its network of scheduled flights from March onwards.
From 25th of March onwards, Finnair will intensify its flights from Spain including Malaga in its network of scheduled flights. The airline will fly from Malaga to Helsinki five days a week (every day except Monday and Wednesday), adding this route to the flights operated daily to and from Madrid and Barcelona to the Finnish capital.
For Finnair, Malaga and the Costa del Sol has always been an important destination in its network and in recent years was part of their holiday destinations, especially among northern European tour operators. Now, Finnair includes Malaga as regular destination and allows linking the Andalusian capital via Helsinki with all its European and Asian destinations.
Currently, Finnair flies daily from Madrid and Barcelona, via Helsinki, to nine destinations in Asia: Beijing, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya, Delhi, Bangkok and Seoul. From May 2011 the company will also open a new daily route to Singapore.
